The Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) is turning 100 this year, and is celebrating the occasion during its Outlook 2020 International HVAC&R Conference, which will take place online on November 10.
The Outlook 2020 Conference aims to bring together industry experts and stakeholders from around the world to discuss the latest HVAC&R trends and technologies. It will feature keynote speeches from Deb Noller, CEO and co-founder of Switch Automation, and Lidia Morawska, Professor at Queensland University of Technology.
“In my time with AIRAH I can’t recall a higher caliber roll call of speakers for one of our conferences,” AIRAH CEO Tony Gleeson told Australia’s HVAC&R News. “We’re thrilled to be hosting such an array of voices and looking forward to reaching as wide an audience as possible.”
In addition to the keynote speakers, the event offers more than 30 speakers, both local and from abroad. Presentations are divided into five different themes:
- Climate change, sustainability, adaption and resilience;
- Innovation and disruption;
- Urbanization;
- Demographics and social change;
- Regulation and legislation
The Conference will also feature a networking café.
Delegates will get access to presentations, technical papers and slides after the conference.
Outlook 2020 and the AIRAH Awards gala will be live-streamed from 9 am to 5:30 pm AEDT. The AIRAH Awards “recognize excellence and achievement in Australia’s HVAC&R Industry.”
