U.S.-based manufacturer Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) will be focusing on its Trillium Adiabatic condenser products and Nexus hybrid-cooling tower and at the Virtual Trade Show on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Organized by clean cooling accelerator shecco (publisher of this website and organizer of ATMOsphere events), the Virtual Trade Show will take place around the world over a 24-hour period on September 1-2. It is free to attend, and interested participants can register here. To date, the event has signed up 77 exhibitors and 2,500+ attendees from 1,300+ organizations.
Launched in 2010, the Trillium adiabatic condenser/fluid Cooler/gas cooler had a generation two launch in 2018 that includes up to 14 fans (compared with the previous four), and more recently this year as a fluid cooler. TrilliumSeries Adiabatic Products are now approaching 2,000 installations in the U.S., said BAC. Hundreds of these installations are to support CO2 transcritical systems, many of which are able to sustain subcritical operation year-round. These CO2 applications range from small supermarkets to 2,000TR (7,034kW) food processing systems.
Released in 2018, the Nexus closed-circuit cooling tower is a hybrid cooling solution, with the ability to switch between evaporative and dry cooling “in a modular compact footprint” said Don Fetzer, BAC President in a press release.
The Nexus hybrid cooler is up to eight feet shorter in height, 40% smaller in footprint and 35% lighter in weight that traditional fluid coolers, said BAC. Modules are designed to be moved with a pallet jack and fit in a freight elevator – eliminating the need for special rigging equipment.
